ข้อดีของปั๊มน้ำ oase คือมีวัตต์ที่ต่ำมาก ตัวอย่างปั๊มรุ่น 6000 มีวัตต์เพียง 55 วัตต์เท่านั้น ทำให้กินไฟน้อยมาก ถ้าเป็นปั๊มน้ำปกติต้องมีวัตต์สูงมากถึง 1 เท่าถึงสามารถให้ปริมาณน้ำได้เท่ากัน ในระยะเวลาเท่ากันในการเปิด ก็จะกินไฟมากกว่ามากกว่า 1 เท่า ในระยะเวลา 2 ปี ก็จะคืนทุน เนื่องจากค่าไฟที่เสียไปจะน้อยกว่าใช้ปั๊มธรรมดา 

Oase Promax 20000 ... The Oase Promax series has 2 models ... 20000 and 30000 lit re filter pumps. These pumps are for koi ponds and larger garden ponds. The Oase Promax is in fact 2 pumps that run in parallel in a single casing. Every centrifugal pump can be run in parallel with one of a similar size to deliver twice as much water approximately to the same head as one single pump. Oase have used this principle in an ingenious way, They have thus made it possible to use well tried and tested submersible pond pump technology to produce very high flow rates yet maintain economic running costs. This dual design of the Oase Promax pump makes it possible to switch off one pump while running another (this save power). This controller (radio or RC controlled) comes standard with the pump. Large sized strainers make it easy to run the Oase Promax pumps for long periods with no maintenance. The Promax range filter pumps have 2 suction inlets. THis means you can run a surface skimmer as well as use normally.
