One of the most significant differentiating characteristic relative to the previous Nautilus generation are the filter wings attached to the side that have the benefit that the pump gains over-proportional filter surface.

The attached filter wings can be removed from the pump and can be used in the shallow area of the pond via a supplied special adapter. this means that the pre-filter can be conveniently maintained from the edge of the pond.. The height of the fountain can be comfortably adjusted from the edge of the pond.

The high efficiency, low energy consumption, asynchronous motor incorporates a bearing and rotor shaft made of wear resistant ceramic material. All the Nautilus pumps incorporate these efficient and reliable asynchronous motors. Moreover, the superb quality of the materials used (stainless steel for the body, and oxide ceramic for the bearings and shaft) ensure a long, trouble free life. The large cylindrical strainer basket guarantees minimum maintenance. Nautilus pumps are suitable for medium to large size fountains, waterfalls and streams as well as filter systems.
